BTG is looking for an Associate Scientist for the Upstream Process Development
Responsibilities:
Operate bioreactor systems at various scales in fed-batch and perfusion- processes (media and feed preparation, seed train, BR assembly etc.)
Operate processes of fermentations and bacteria propagation in anaerobic environment
Ongoing day to day support of bioreactors and fermenters processes, including support on off-hours (nights, weekends, On-Call), perform analytical testing (GMP experience is an advantage)
Implementation and development of high throughput technologies
Supporting writing of technical documents including protocols, reports, SOPs risk assessments, etc.
Coordinate information and documents for regulatory filings

Requirements:
MsC or Bachelor degree in Microbiology, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology Engineering, Biotechnology, Biology or Biochemistry
Minimum of 3 years relevant experience, biotechnology or pharma setting
Previous hands-on experience with anaerobic microbial environment handling a must
Previous hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture an advantage
Excellent organizational and technical skills
Ability to manage concurrent deliverables and work effectively with others in a challenging, milestone-driven environment
Ability to diversify technical skills in a fast-paced organization
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and SCADA systems.
