As a Principal Researcher for SAST, you will be an integral part of our journey to identify, research, and rectify vulnerabilities in proprietary code.
Your Impact:
Advance Prisma Cloud’s static analysis capabilities through in-depth research, detection methodologies, and the design of advanced security checks
Regularly engage with the larger security research community, representing Prisma Cloud at conferences and forums
Collaborate closely with engineering teams to implement your research findings, ensuring Prisma Cloud’s SAST remains industry-leading
Advise product managers and leadership on emerging threats and trends in the SAST domain
Mentor and guide junior researchers and engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and sharing

Proven background in research including application security and static code analysis with 6+ years of experience
Familiarity with multiple popular programming languages and understanding of their associated security pitfalls
Demonstrated track record of research in security vulnerabilities and mitigations
Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
Prior experience conducting SAST research
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to explain complex topics to varied audiences
Proven background in research including application security and static code analysis with 6+ years of experience
Familiarity with multiple popular programming languages and understanding of their associated security pitfalls
