As the Head of Data, you will lead our data team and be responsible for architecting and implementing internal data systems.
Your role will involve understanding and addressing the data and BI needs of the company to enable data-driven business decisions.
You will work closely with various departments and external subcontractors to ensure seamless integration and utilization of data across the organization.
Key Interfaces:
Collaborate closely with the management forum to align data initiatives with the companys strategic vision and business objectives. Provide high-level insights and updates on key metrics, data trends, and performance indicators.
Support business and project management teams (finance, sales, legal, PMOs, etc.) with their data needs. Delve into their daily work and goals to ensure that the data flow and infrastructure effectively supports their objectives.
Work closely with the company Architects, Head of IT & DevOps and other tech leads, to design and create a secure data flow and integrate data systems with the companys broader systems.
Delegate workload to subcontractors, monitor their progress and serve as the organization technical authority to assess their deliverables.
Guide R&D requirements to expand the companys data sources, enabling more accurate future decisions.

Requirements:
At least 5 years of experience in a senior data role (e.g., CTO, CDO, Data Architect) with a successful history in data strategy development and execution (Data Zones, Data Modeling, Data Lake/Lakehouse, etc.)- a must.
Proven ability to deliver projects from conception to implementation, ensuring seamless execution and optimal solutions- a must.
Proven experience leading both internal and outsourced teams, with a demonstrated ability to manage subcontractors effectively and leverage team strengths-a must.
Experience in building and managing data warehouses (traditional/cloud-based), data lakes, and data lake houses- a must.
Skilled in using data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., BI tools, Data Analysis tools) to provide impactful insights- a must.
Experience with both relational and NoSQL databases, along with cloud storage solutions (e.g., S3, Snowflake) a must.
Expertise in designing and implementing effective data governance strategies to ensure data quality, security, and compliance with data privacy regulations (mention specific regulations if applicable)- a must.
Familiarity with and enthusiasm for modern data architecture approaches for optimal data management and utilization- a must.
Understanding of data privacy regulations and best practices- a must.
