The opportunity
The Clinical Science Liaison (CSL) role is part of Field Medical Affairs and functions as a scientific resource responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with national, regional and local advanced practice providers/KOLs to communicate and advance Teva science in alignment with the overall Medical Strategy.
The CSLs will also engage in education and fair-balanced scientific exchange with key HCPs, diverse interdisciplinary team members and various healthcare decision makers in academic and long-term care settings. In addition, the CSLs will collaborate with the Medical Patient Advocacy team to support national Patient Advocacy Organizations (PAGs).
The territory for this role consists of the Northeast (NY, CT, RI, MA, VT, NH, ME). The ideal candidate preferably lives in the New York City, but it is not required.
How you’ll spend your day
Develop and foster collaborative relationships with national, regional and local Advanced Practice Providers across various healthcare settings
Identify gaps in knowledge across the range of practice settings, plan and execute appropriate educational presentations and provide resources to address educational needs
Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with national, regional and state level advanced professional organizations (i.e., APNA, AANN, GAPNA, AAPA,) and collaborate to support educational needs/gaps
Keep current in latest literature and research within therapeutic area to facilitate meaningful clinical/scientific interactions
Professionally represent Teva at select medical and nursing congresses and gather relevant insights
Provide feedback and recommendations for resources to support CSL activity in the field
Complete accurate and timely administrative reports, projects, and other required assignments
Provide relevant clinical and scientific support for internal cross-functional colleagues
Due to the nature of the job responsibilities of the CSL role, overnight travel (up to 60-70%) is required. This travel may also involve attendance for evening and weekend events.
