Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Presales Engineer with a solid background in tech companies and SaaS products, and expertise with owning the RFI/RFP process. The Presales Engineer will play a crucial role in the sales process by delivering accurate and compelling responses to RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs in collaboration with multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities: Manage the End-to-End RFI Process: Own the entire Lead RFI/RFP from prospects and customers across multiple functions in the organization. Generate clear and accurate responses in a polished, high-quality document(s) on time. Content Management: Develop and maintain a centralized knowledge base of standard responses, product details, and technical documentation for use in RFIs and RFPs. Continuously update content to reflect the latest product developments and industry trends. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, sales, and marketing teams to ensure all RFI responses are accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with the company’s messaging and product capabilities. Quality Assurance : Ensure all RFI responses are consistent, persuasive, and meet our quality standards. Tailor responses to address specific client needs and business requirements. Project Management: Manage multiple RFI and RFP projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and effective responses. Track and report on progress, managing stakeholder expectations and deadlines. Competitive Intelligence: Analyze competitor RFI responses and positioning, providing insights to the product and sales teams to refine our competitive edge. Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to create proposals and presentations that communicate our value proposition effectively. Help craft narratives that address key decision-makers’ concerns and highlight product strengths.

Requirements:
* 3-5 years of experience in similar roles, preferably in SaaS companies, managing RFIs, RFPs, or similar documentation processes.
* Strong understanding of business applications and sales processes.
* Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with various teams and stakeholders.
* Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to produce error-free, professional documents.
* Excellent writing and editing skills, with experience crafting compelling narratives for technical and non-technical audiences.
* Familiarity with RFP/RFI response software (such as RFPIO, Loopio) and CRM systems ( salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).
* Sales-oriented approach and ability to take customer meetings.
