We are looking for a commercial lawyer with experience in privacy laws and regulations to join our legal team as a Legal Counsel reporting to VP Legal.
As a member of our legal team, youll support our business in Israel, Europe, the UK and the US. The day-to-day work will include reviewing and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements, product counseling, and advising on privacy, IP, and compliance matters. You will need to have a good general understanding of our production processes, technology, and regulatory framework. In addition to generalist skills, we expect you to have a deep understanding of the complexities of managing vendors, negotiating commercial agreements with customers, and privacy requirements.
Role & Responsibilities:
Review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including customer contracts and vendor agreements
Provide product counseling (i.e. on privacy, intellectual property and other compliance matters) to internal teams, ensuring legal compliance and risk mitigation.
Stay up-to-date with privacy requirements and regulations, providing guidance on implementation and compliance
Identify potential legal issues and propose solutions to support business objectives.
Become subject matter expert and the right-hand person for VP Legal and coordinate the legal work with the relevant departments in Israel and globally, such as information security, RA/QA, marketing, product, sales.

Requirements:
At least 4 years of legal experience in a tech/corporate department in a leading law firm and/or as in-house legal counsel in an international setting.
Bachelor of Laws degree and a qualified lawyer in Israel. A similar degree (such as a JD) from an academic institute in the US and/or US qualifications is a plus.
Solid experience in reviewing, commenting, and providing advice on commercial agreements with customers and vendors (NDAs, service and supply agreements, T&Cs, etc).
Profound knowledge and experience in GDPR, HIPAA, and other privacy laws.
Strong organizational, project management, and execution skills.
Ability to balance and prioritize multiple time-sensitive tasks, and manage competing priorities effectively and independently.
Ability to work effectively, both independently and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders and cross-functionally.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Fluent in English and Hebrew. As most of the work and communication are conducted in English, a high level of professional English (speaking and writing) is a must.
