Our company is seeking an experienced Senior Writer to join our Content team.
To be considered for the role, you must have at least 4 years of experience in content writing.
You will create high-quality content that consistently follows our stylistic guidelines and requires little editing once submitted. In this role, you will be writing with a large degree of independence, with writing topics usually ideated and chosen by you. You will be under a Head of Content who will serve primarily as your editor.
Your articles will be the focus of our content production, and you need some knowledge of on-page SEO to excel in this role. While the role exists primarily within the marketing team, it will also be required to contribute written materials for the product, sales and account management teams.

Responsibilities
Assist with creating a quarterly content calendar
Research relevant industry topics efficiently using a combination of independent online research, speaking to internal company SMEs and other means
Create a variety of content types, including blog articles, social media posts, newsletters, infographics and sales collateral
Write multiple high-quality articles independently every week
Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles and infographics
Create error-free content thats in line with our guidelines and ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images, and tone)
Use SEO practices to generate traffic to blog articles and website
Assist growth marketer in writing strategic copy for landing pages and website pages
Working with SMB Sales team to identify customers needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
Work within a marketing project management system (Monday.com, Asana, ProofHub, Clarizen, Basecamp, or other).

4+ years of experience in content writing/financial or business journalism
Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of On-page SEO and experience in keyword research
Self-starter who can write independently and requires little help from editors
Accept and integrate constructive feedback from editing provided by Head of Content
Ability to write in a business-like and professional tone that would appeal to small business owners; experience in finance or fintech writing highly preferred
Basic knowledge of WordPress and project management software such as Monday.com.
