The opportunity
The primary responsibility of the role is to provide Financial planning reporting and analysis support to the US Generics Organization including preparation of quarterly forecasts, annual budget and long range plans and reporting actuals variances vs forecasts including business drivers.
The position will also support financial planning for new products launches, portfolio profitability review and optimization, and, manufacturing and supply chain financial consultation for the US Generics business.
Location: This is a hybrid role (3 days/week in office) based in our Parsippany, NJ office
How you’ll spend your day
Support US Generics by developing quarterly, annual and long range financial forecasts and assess business drivers as well as opportunities and risks in the forecast; Communicate significant assumptions to senior management; and analyze actual results compared to forecast and plan.
Support forecasts and planning for New Product Launches (NPL) and work closely with the Commercial Forecasting team to identify key forecast parameters as well as risk and opportunities and communicate significant assumptions to senior management.
Lead financial analyses in support of US Generics commercial, manufacturing and supply chain decisions with emphasis on maximizing commercial value while reducing write-off risks and working capital requirements
Provide Profitability review for Generics portfolio and work with Commercial, Manufacturing and Supply Chain teams on projects to identify levers to help improve portfolio profitability.
Analyzes and communicates trends and other financial/operational relationships that may impact future financial performance.
Provide ongoing Systems related support to Generics area including ensuring accuracy of financial data in the systems, loading forecasts and plans and checking the accuracy of the costing information.
Delivers financial presentations to key members of the leadership team.
