The Commercial Director provides support to all current and future operating hotels by coordinating and providing guidance to the hotel teams with an aim to drive hotel performance and maximizing / leveraging on global scale and resources.
What you will be doing:
This role will lead the planning and development of all market commercial strategies and marketing plans and the building of a high performing culture within the team, with a strong talent pipeline. Building Market level relationships with key stakeholders and partners and leveraging these for performance and partnership opportunities. Ensure tools and initiatives are shared and being used by hotel teams, create champions and lead business reviews and communication.
Work closely with VP of Commercial, Revenue Leads, General Managers and Hotel teams to drive business performance reviews, and develop performance driving country commercial strategies and tactics
Works closely with VP of Commercial to develop and execute a medium to long term market plan and priorities
Works closely with Digital Marketing & Brand to create and execute a marketing plan for the country, including partnerships and PR.
Work closely with all Regional Sales, Account Directors and Regional Sales teams in the key account strategies, RFPs, MICE, Leisure and TPI accounts and pursuit of new business for hotels
Build strong market level relationships with key stakeholders, government entities and commercial partners. Leverage these to support the performance or brand awareness agenda in market
Supports the Distribution agenda in the market Drive Rate parity, OTA content scores, effective communication of and implementation of functional updates for the country.
Support the launch and embedding of new and existing tools to the hotel community.
Ensure hotels have Champions assigned for all Programs & Tools and promotes cross-selling regionally and internationally
Coordinates and shares feedback within assigned hotels on market intelligence and competitors sales/ promotion efforts.

Requirements:
Degree in Sales, Hospitality or Business Administration
English proficiency and local language
Proven track record in performance driving across multiple units and ideally multiple markets, and/or strong Commercial, Brand and Marketing experience.
Technical Skills and Knowledge
Strong stakeholder management with ability to influence peers and management
Strong team / culture leadership ability and team development and succession planning
