A Day in the Life of our Automation (Controls) Engineer
To specify control systems and instrumentation which will enable high efficiency manufacturing processes.
To support fault finding on complex automation equipment
To ensure that there are adequate electrical and electronic spares in inventory to minimise risk of associated downtime
Improve systems capabilities through a program of Continuous Improvement while complying with all cGMP’s
Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with the required standards conforming to Company SOP’s, cGMP, cGLP, Specifications, Validation, Regulatory Affairs, H&S and Environmental requirements.
To ensure that all documentation associated with instrumentation, Automation, controls systems and integrity testing is compliant at all times.
Lead resolution in all control system and software problems in a timely and professional manner
Project manage and rapidly resolve control system problems affecting output or quality and reducing customer service levels.
To continuously develop better and improved ways of carrying out processing operations with particular view to automation
Who we are looking for…
Are you….
Educated to Degree level in electronics / controls / automation/Engineering fields of study with strong experience in Controls and Instrumentation
Do you have?
3-5 years experience working with highly automated systems?
Experience in troubleshooting PLC/PC controlled equipment, Vision applications, Serialisation, SCADA, ICS, BMS & Servo Motion Technology experience?
Understanding of network & communication architecture?
Project management experience?
Strong communication and collaboration skills?
Deliver high levels of customer service?
Good planning and organising skills & adaptable to changing priorities?
Regulated experience would be preferred
