Job Overview
Working within a cross-functional R&D team environment, the V&V Engineer is responsible for coordinating, performing, and sustaining verification and regulatory compliance activities required to support the development and installation of electro-mechanical systems and components.
Responsibilities and Duties
Reports to VP HW R&D
Takes part in product development throughout the product life cycle.
Defines and execute the V&V masterplan and tests to ensure product compliance with applicable standards.
Prepare V&V protocols and reports.
Defines and writes testing/manufacturing/inspection work instructions.
Supports engineering, manufacturing, and QA/QC activities.
Defines requirements for testing and inspection setups.
Manages 3rd party testing, validation, and standardization activities.
Manage field service issues escalation and investigation.
Education Electronic engineer /practical engineer (optional- Mechanical engineer with electronics background) – required.
Independent work capability, high interpersonal skills required.
Electronic and electrical drawings understanding required.
Mechanical assemblies understanding required.
Language skills (Verbal and read/write )- Hebrew and English – required
Hands-on approach wiring, soldering, mechanical assembly – advantage.
Experience 2-3 years- advantage
Experience in medical device industry – advantage
Experience with validation of medical devices advantage
Board design capabilities advantage
knowledge in the field of EMC & Safety certification of electromechanical product- advantage
Proficiency in MS Office.
Altium, Orcad- advantage
Pyton, Matlab advantage
SolidWorks – advantage
