As a Senior Data Scientist, you will:
Develop and deploy cutting-edge NLP-based products for Gong, optimizing models for real-world performance and scalability while ensuring they meet production standards and business needs.
Conduct hands-on research to integrate data and product insights, creating robust NLP algorithms with production-grade code that enhance business outcomes and drive strategic value.
Participate in brainstorming sessions for machine learning initiatives, collaborating closely with the Product and Engineering teams to influence and shape Gongs product strategy.
Mentor team members and contribute to their professional growth through joint work, knowledge sharing, and staying up to date with the latest ML developments.
Requirements:
M.Sc. or Ph.D. in an exact science field, with a thesis focused on NLP.
3+ years of industry experience in NLP research, including deep learning and large language models (LLMs).
Strong knowledge of various ML disciplines and algorithms, with proven experience in delivering end-to-end algorithm solutions from experimentation to production.
Proficiency in Python programming and a solid understanding of experiment design, data analysis, and results reporting.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Published papers in peer-reviewed journals or conferences related to statistics, machine learning, or neural networks (an advantage).
