This is a hands-on role focused on execution, structure, and clarity. It is not a traditional CFO position and does not involve board management or corporate politics.
The role reports directly to the CEO and plays a critical part in preparing the company for its next stage of growth.
What You Will Do
Financial Operations & Control
Own and manage the companys financial operations end to end
Ensure accurate and timely monthly closes
Maintain clean, reliable financial data and reports
Work closely with the companys accountant and external auditors
Billing, Revenue & Collections
Build and improve billing and invoicing processes
Ensure alignment between contracts, usage, and revenue recognition
Improve collections and reduce outstanding balances
Support revenue tracking and unit economics analysis
Reporting & Data
Create clear financial dashboards and management reports
Establish a single source of truth for financial data
Eliminate manual, error-prone reporting processes
Preparation for Due Diligence
Organize financial documentation and data rooms
Support investor and partner due diligence processes
Ensure financial readiness for growth and scale
Experience as a Controller, Finance Manager, or Head of Finance in a technology or SaaS company
Proven experience building financial processes in a growing organization
Strong understanding of billing, revenue flows, and financial controls
Experience working with ERP and financial systems (e.g., NetSuite or similar)
