The opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and strategic EHS Lead (Associate Director) to oversee and continuously improve our Environment, Health, and Safety programs at the factory level. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring compliance with Romanian legislation and corporate policies, while fostering a culture of safety, sustainability, and operational excellence. You will also coordinate Business Continuity Management (BCM) and administrative functions, playing a vital role in protecting our people, assets, and the environment.How you’ll spend your day
– Leading the development and implementation of EHS policies, procedures, and systems (including ISO 14001).- Managing the EHS and Administrative departments, ensuring alignment with corporate and legal standards.- Conducting internal audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.- Coordinating fire prevention, occupational health and safety, and environmental protection activities.- Overseeing the BCM policy and ensuring disaster preparedness and recovery plans are in place.- Preparing and submitting reports to authorities and maintaining accurate documentation.- Delivering training programs for employees and management on EHS and emergency procedures.- Monitoring KPIs, budgets, and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.- Acting as the primary liaison with government and community authorities on EHS matters.
