The Network Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the organizations network infrastructure to ensure reliable and efficient communication across the organization. This role involves configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting network hardware and software, ensuring optimal network performance, and providing Technical Support to other IT staff and end-users.
Requirements:
3-5 years of experience in network engineering, administration, or a related role.
Experience with network design, implementation, and troubleshooting in a multi-site environment.
Certifications:
Relevant certifications such as, Arista Certified Engineer (ACE), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), or CompTIA Network+ are preferred.
Skills:
Proficiency in network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, OSPF, BGP).
Experience with SDWAN (SilverPeak preferred)
Experience with network hardware (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls) from vendors like Arista, Cisco, Juniper, or similar.
Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds, Nagios).
