The position
The Quality Assurance and Testing (QAT) team is dedicated to ensuring that all incoming materials, components, and products meet the company’s quality standards before they enter inventory or production. QAT plays a key role in preventing defects, minimizing damage, and ensuring compliance with both company and industry standards. The team’s primary objective is to collaborate with suppliers to improve their quality standards, promptly identify quality issues, and prevent delays in assembly. QAT works in close partnership with Engineering, Assembly, Purchasing, and Planning departments to ensure smooth operations and high-quality production outcomes
What will your job look like:
Perform visual, functional, and measurement inspections for incoming mechanical parts, cables, sensors, electronics, and fans.
Manage supplier complaints, address claims regarding defective deliveries, and collaborate with suppliers on corrective and preventive actions.
Track supplier quality performance, including activities, KPIs, and scores.
Support the engineering department by measuring component dimensions for design and reverse engineering, conducting first article inspections (FAI), and performing 3D scanning of vehicle parts for design purposes
All you need is:
Practical Mechanical Engineer degree or relevant educational background.
Strong knowledge of industry standards such as IPC/WHMA-A-620, ISO 1101, and ISO 9001.
At least 3 years of experience in quality control within a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in interpreting mechanical drawings and electrical schematics, with hands-on experience in using measurement tools and understanding GD&T principles.
Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, eDrawings); experience with additional CAD programs will be considered an advantage.
Proficiency in applying 3D scanning and data processing tools (e.g PolyWorks, Geomagic) for component analysis.
Strong communication skills in both English and Hebrew, with the ability to collaborate across teams in different regions.
