With a deep understanding of financial planning, modeling, and analysis, the Director of FP&A will partner with the leadership team to build the Companys fiscal plans and processes, including budgeting and variance analyses, forecasting and long-term planning, defining and measuring business metrics and performance, cash flow projections, and other ad-hoc strategic business analyses.
As a Director of FP&A, you will hold a high level of responsibility and trust within the organization, reporting directly to the CFO.
Role and Responsibilities
Oversee the Companys financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, as well as reporting and control activities to monitor and assess the Companys financial performance.
Conduct financial analysis to support data-driven decision-making on strategic initiatives, pricing, investments, resource allocation, and other business opportunities.
Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual BvA processes and prepare ongoing reports to the companys stakeholders.
Manage and build the companys annual operating plan (budget) and multi-year plans
Provide accurate and timely reports to stakeholders, delivering insight regarding business metrics and key performance indicators.
Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for executive leadership and external stakeholders, such as management reports, Board presentations, and investor updates.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams both within finance (Accounting, Bookkeeping, Procurement) and other departments (Business Operations, GTM, R&D) in the organization.
Lead ad-hoc projects and analyses, including defining and improving internal processes.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with at least 2 managerial position (such as FP&A Director/ Manager), preferably in a tech company
Bachelors Degree in Economics/Accounting/Business Management or other quantitative field from an acknowledged university; MBA – an advantage
Strong proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting best practices, with a deep understanding of SaaS metrics
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel – required
Experience working with relevant software and systems, including ERP (preferably Netsuite), Salesforce, and other BI tools – strongly preferred
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate financial concepts to non-finance professionals.
Proven project management experience and self-learning ability, with a hands-on approach
Analytical with strong business acumen
Fluent English (spoken and written)
