A Global Multidisciplinary company, is seeking an Application Scientist to join the application team that specializes in x-ray metrology products.
Responsibilities:
To Provide technical expertise through sales presentations, product demonstrations, of company products.
To Assist the Sales staff in assessing potential application of company products, to meet customer needs and preparing detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customer applications.
To build applications based on customer requirements.
To provide software development and consultation to prospective users.
To Support of the Core Technology, Engineering and Manufacturing teams with qualification of new technologies, algorithms, methodologies, software and hardware features.
To Ensure that the product application/solution is functioning according to specificatio

Requirements:
Degree in Materials engineering / Chemical engineering / Chemistry / Physics (B.Sc. minimum, M.Sc./Ph. D is preferred).
Good knowledge of Materials Engineering basics (thermodynamics, kinetics, diffusion, basic crystallography etc).
Knowledge of the processes in microelectronics – Advantage.
Familiarity with characterization techniques (preferably hands-on work and results analysis). Experience in matching and mis-match analysis of the different techniques – Advantage.
Experience in XRF and classical XRR, XRD or HR XRD, SAXS, Ellipsometry, or OCD – Advantage.
Good knowledge in statistics and data analysis.
Experience in metrology – Advantage.
Experience working in an industry environment – Advantage.
Experience in the semiconductor field.- Advantage.
Fluent English and experience in technical writing.
Good communication skills, good reporting skills.
