As the company enters its next phase of growth, we are seeking an experienced system Engineering Leader, with expertise in power systems and power electronics to join our team. This person will be working on defining high level system requirements for SW and HW teams, based on customer and market needs, from the earliest stages of development, till the products release and deployment at customers.
Key responsibilities:
Define qualification requirements for all system and products features
Write system specifications (SRS, HLDD, LLDD etc.)
Define compliance requirements (environmental, safety, radio, EMI/RFI) for company products.
Plan, accompany and supervise compliance certification tests at certified labs
Lead system design surveys (PDR, CDR)
Lead and supervise system pilot installations
Accompany systems deployment in the field

Bachelors degree in electrical and electronic engineering with an emphasis on power systems – Must
Masters degree in electrical and electronic engineering or system engineering (preferred)
Master electrician license (preferred)
Minimum 5 years of experience in system engineering that combines hardware, Embedded software and algorithms
Proven experience in the architecture and development of power systems, electronics and software.
In-depth understanding of high voltage power grids, including faults and their classification, grid characteristics, transmission and distribution power grids (preferred)
In-depth understanding of electrical interfaces and communication protocols (preferred)
Ability to write detailed requirements and manage the process independently and professionally
Ability to lead a team, have system vision, learn quickly and cooperate with others.
