We are looking for a talented and driven System and Hardware Engineer to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with our team to define system requirements (SRS – System Requirements Specifications) and contribute to the design and implementation of hardware solutions based on externally sourced components.
This role includes designing the system, its components, and functions from a high level.
This position is pivotal in ensuring the successful development and deployment of our stereoscopic sensor system.
Requirements:
Collaborate with the team to define detailed System Requirements
Specifications (SRS) for the stereoscopic sensor system, ensuring they address functionality, performance, reliability, and safety.
Develop hardware solutions utilizing externally sourced vision and LWIR cameras, ensuring they meet our design specifications for performance, reliability, and compliance with relevant safety standards (e.g., automotive safety standards).
Integrate and test hardware components, ensuring they meet performance, reliability, and safety standards.
Work with cross-functional teams, including software engineers and data scientists, to seamlessly integrate hardware and software components. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues, optimizing system performance.
Stay up to date with the latest advancements in sensor technology, vision systems, and LWIR imaging.
Contribute to technical documentation, including detailed design specifications, PDR (Preliminary Design Review) documents, CDR (Critical Design Review) documents, test plans, and user manuals.
Participate in design reviews, providing insights and recommendations for improvements.
