Responsibilities:
Identify opportunities to implement AI solutions within our product to enhance product experiences and operational efficiency.
Collect and analyze diverse financial datasets to implement AI proof of concepts to address specific business needs.
Own end to end AI processes, from problem definition through the research phase and all the way to implementation. Break down complex tasks to actionable steps and create well defined work plans
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective integration of AI solutions.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI technologies and apply them to deliver customer benefits.
Provide technical leadership, mentor junior data scientists, delegate tasks, be a thought leader on AI and balancing immediate and long-term priorities.
Education: Bachelors degree in Economics or Industrial Engineering. A Masters degree in a data-science related field is a plus.
Experience: 5+ years in a data science role, preferably within a SaaS or technology-driven environment.
Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver AI based solutions for key business problems.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in data manipulation and visualization tools.
Strong understanding in machine learning fundamentals and statistical analysis.
Proficiency with machine learning frameworks such as scikit-learn, XGBoost, PyTorch, TensorFlow.
Familiarity with LLMs and the LLM ecosystem (LangChain, LlamaIndex)
Advanced knowledge of SQL.
Proficiency with Python and the python data stack.
Understanding of backend development software architecture patterns – advantage.
Working with big data – advantage.
