We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our procurement team as the Procurement Category Team Leader – Technology. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the procurement efforts related to technology products and services across our organization. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure cost-effective procurement, timely delivery, and quality of technology goods and services.
Key Responsibilities:
Category Strategy Development:
Develop and execute procurement strategies for the technology category aligned with the company’s overall objectives and goals.
Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and supplier optimization within the technology category.
Vendor Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with technology vendors, negotiating contracts, and ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
Evaluate vendor performance and manage vendor relationships to drive continuous improvement and value delivery.
Sourcing and Procurement:
Lead the sourcing process for technology products and services, including RFP creation, vendor evaluation, and selection.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand technology requirements and provide procurement expertise and guidance.
Contract Management:
Oversee the contract lifecycle management process, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and agreements with technology vendors.
Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and monitor contract performance to mitigate risks and maximize value.
Team Leadership and Development:
Manage and mentor a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to foster their growth and development.
Set clear goals and expectations for the technology procurement team, monitoring performance and providing regular feedback.
Continuous Improvement:
Drive process efficiencies and improvements within the technology procurement function, leveraging technology and best practices to streamline operations.
Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies to inform procurement strategies and decision-making.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Proven experience in procurement, with a focus on technology products and services, preferably in a global organization.
Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management and vendor relationship management.
Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify insights, and make data-driven decisions.
