We are looking for a Edge Team Lead- Platform Group.
As the Hybrid Team Lead, you will oversee the development, deployment, and maintenance of our virtual appliances deployed on customer sites.
You will lead a geographically distributed team, manage projects, and ensure the successful execution of our technical solutions.
Your role will include strategic planning, team leadership, and hands-on technical contributions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a distributed engineering team in Israel and Ukraine, fostering collaboration, team development, and growth
Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of virtual appliance projects, ensuring alignment with goals and timelines.
Provide technical expertise in developing and optimizing virtual appliances, ensuring high standards and best practices.
Develop and implement infrastructure strategies to support high traffic and diverse customer needs.
Oversee the monitoring of virtual appliance performance and lead efforts to resolve issues and enhance system efficiency.
Collaborate with the field team to understand needs, provide support, and ensure seamless integration.

Requirements:
7+ years of experience in software engineering or related fields, with at least 3 years in a leadership or team lead role, preferably in a geographically distributed team environment.
Experience in at least 2 development languages. (Go/ Scala preferred)
Extensive experience with microservice architectures in cloud-native environments.
Strong experience with Kubernetes and Helm charts for container orchestration.
Advanced knowledge of Linux systems and administration vmware
Proficiency with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their integration with virtual appliances.
Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a distributed team effectively, with experience in handling cross-cultural communication and coordination.
Highly dynamic, self-motivated, and quick to adapt to new information and technologies.
Preferred (but not mandatory) experience:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent military experience.
Experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or senior technical roles.
Knowledge of Linux networking tools such as iptables and tcpdump.
Familiarity with GitOps tools like Argo or Flux for continuous delivery.
