We are looking for someone who has experience in prototyping and demonstrating automated measurement and inspection systems.
ead or participate in strategic research projects in the field of X-ray-based metrology and inspection
Work with the applications, engineering, and marketing teams to understand customer challenges and propose creative solutions to help drive Advanced Technology Development
Close collaboration with engineering team (electrical, mechanical and software) to develop prototype measurement setups
Design and conduct experiments to demonstrate feasibility of new measurement setups
Analyze and interpret experimental data
Prepare and present research findings to peers and management
Contribute to technical articles and customer / conference presentations
Prepare disclosures of new inventions
Participate in Israeli and EU consortia projects

Requirements:
Knowledge and experience in in one, or more, of the following areas would be a distinct advantage:
X-ray and/or optical metrology technologies and tools
Prior experience in the semiconductor industry
Experience planning, designing and operating automated measurement sub-systems
Fluency with scripting languages used for data collection and analysis, e.g. Python or MATLAB
Able to learn new scientific and technical concepts efficiently and deeply
Excellent verbal and written communication skills English required with and Hebrew/Russian an advantage
Knowledge and experience in in one, or more, of the following areas would be a distinct advantage:

Ph.D. or M.Sc. in Physics, Materials Science or a related science / engineering field
Ideally 3+ years post graduate of experience
